Here I am in the middle of the night with a headache and stiff shoulders, worrying about the trip I will be making in a few hours! I am taking a Greyhound bus to the station nearest to where Luckymama lives, so that I can stay at her house Saturday night and we can drive up to NYC together again on Sunday, to see Laz and his comedy troupe at the New York Comedy Club. I am sooo excited, but at the same time terrified--I honestly have never traveled alone before! Lucky has her college-age son meeting me in Pittsburgh (where he goes to art school), to make me feel safer and help me with my luggage and with changing buses because he has done all that before, but I am still scared I will miss my connection. I need all of you to pray that I manage and that all goes well this weekend--Sunday night we may be out late, and have to drive back to my house Monday (Lucky will be spending the next few days with me and needs your prayers too, for her trip home alone). Thanx mucho to you all for your help!

Mariposa, sweetie, I have been praying, constantly. By the time you read this off of my computer the scariest part of your trip will be over. :)
Everyone else, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Mariposa and I are at it again, traveling to see Laz and on a grand adventure. People around here think I am nuts, but I don't care. I know all of you understand this need to connect with members of Freddie's family. I have such love for you all and wish someday to meet all of you face to face. :love: What a grand time that would be. We will remember you all as three of us get together tomorrow night. Please keep me and my car in your prayers, especially Sunday, Monday and Thursday (My long travel days)

Thank you, Jenny Lee. I am a firm believer in those angels! St. Michael is my constant companion and I have sent him on ahead to be with Mariposa today as her traveling companion. She needs a big strong male angel to protect her and make her feel relaxed! :)

Well, we are on our way to NYC to see Laz. Mariposa and I will be scarce on all the boards and clubs for the next two days, but should be back in full force at her house by Monday night/Tuesday morning. Thank you for all for all of your good wishes and prayers. Mariposa bus ride was uneventful and I hope the car trips will be too. (Except for all of our Freddie talk! :lol: )

Good luck with the trip. I am back from seeing Arlo & tired. I need to go back to bed soon! Whatever you do try to avoid stopping in Bethesda, MD cuz they will stop ya for anything there! Prayers just said! Have a great time! Good luck with Laz too on the show! You are gonna have fun! :)
