As "Superstore" is wrapping its run on NBC with the current sixth season, the network is looking to extend the franchise with "Bo & Cheyenne", a proposed spin-off written by "Superstore" co-executive producers Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu.

The project, now in script development, would star Nichole Sakura and Johnny Pemberton. In "Bo & Cheyenne", Bo (Pemberton) and Cheyenne (Sakura) balance their big dreams with the harsh realities of being a blue-collar family in America.

NBC passes on Superstore spinoff Bo & Cheyenne (https://tvline.com/2021/03/29/superstore-spinoff-cancelled-bo-and-cheyenne-nbc/)

The spinoff (https://www.primetimer.com/item/NBC-is-developing-Superstore-spinoff-Bo-amp-Cheyenne-ElS6Yb) that would've revolved around Nichole Sakura's Cheyenne Thompson and Johnny Pemberton's Derek “Bo” Thompson balancing their big dreams with the harsh realities of being a blue-collar family in America is not moving forward. Superstore co-executive producer Bridget Kyle, who was wrote the spinoff with fellow co-executive producer Vicky Luu, revealed the news to Cleveland.com (https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2021/03/nbc-passes-on-superstore-spinoff-from-cleveland-native-bridget-kyle.html). “Unfortunately, yesterday NBC notified us that they’re not going forward with the ‘Superstore’ spinoff,” she said in an interview published after last week's Superstore series finale. “So, it will just have to live on in our hearts and on my hard drive.”

I'm glad it didn't. These characters were so stupid, they gave me headaches. They were nothing but stereotypes and not very funny.
