Dear Brian,

I have a proposal for The Jim Henson Company: to make a deal with The Walt Disney Company for Disney to purchase The Jim Henson Company for $10 million, with Disney's Henson acquisition to take effect in September 2021; as part of Disney's Henson acquisition, Disney shall have full ownership of The Jim Henson Company just like it did in the early '90s (1992-1996, specifically) after Jim died.

The idea, as I'm sure you know, is nothing new, considering your dad Jim was planning on selling his Muppet characters to Disney (as would eventually happen in February 2004), but the sale initially fell apart after Jim died until Disney made a narrower deal in December 1991, just before Christmas that year, to purchase The Jim Henson Company (then officially Jim Henson Productions) for $150 million.

Under Disney ownership, I remember you retaining your role as President/CEO of The Jim Henson Company, even after Disney (in my opinion its BIGGEST mistake ever) sold Henson to German company EM.TV before you and your siblings bought it back the year before selling the Muppet characters back to Disney in 2004.

With that in mind, Brian, I propose, as part of Disney's re-acquisition of The Jim Henson Company, that you and your sisters join the Disney Board of Directors as well as work with Disney in making brand-new Henson Company programming including that of the "Fraggle Rock" revival and the upcoming "Hagar the Horrible."

I hope this is taken into consideration, and thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Steve Arino
