Someone told me today that there is an episode where Edith dies. Does anybody know if this is true? She said that was how they started into Archie Bunker's Place. Could that be true?

What happened was that in Archie Bunker's Place's 2nd season starter, they killed off Edith, saying that she died of a stroke in her sleep. The episode to many people is hard to watch, and is the reason why many syndictaion stations prefer not showing it. TV Land doesn't even want to buy the rights to ABP, because of that episode. The episode was called, "Archie Alone".
