Take the Cleavers at the relative ages they were in 1960, and put them in our modern world, bring them up to speed with the modern realities, where would they stand on the issues we struggle with, today?
Would they be pro-mask, pro-distancing survivalists, or would they be up in arms over the right to congregate, to attend church en-masse, and otherwise conduct their affairs without curtailment?
Would they be avid BLM supporters? Would Ward have been a Trumpster, or in the Joe Biden camp?
Vaxxers or Anti-vaxxers?

June would move the beds a few feet farther apart. They'd be on opposite sides on masks-- Ward would rail about it but wear one (he'd fear the Karens of the current world). They'd both go along with distancing. He'd vent about the church restrictions, but their Methodist church strictly adheres to the rules. He and Fred kept their jobs but are working from home.
They'd be glad the Brits, the health care workers, and nursing home residents get the vacc. first. Ward figures, and June agrees, if there was a problem, by the time the vaccine gets to them, the problems if any would be in the forefront. June also says there could be unknown long term effects, but there are known long term effects of the virus.
I'll leave the other subjects to others...

Well, I do not disagree with any point you have listed. At the same time I suspect that Ward would seize the opportunity to impress upon the boys that where matters affecting many others are concerned, it is especially important to develop an informed opinion, and stand behind a position that promotes the general welfare, and not just our own self interest.
Eddy would, of course, come along later and insist that the selfless bit was for losers, and pay some tragic consequence as a result.
