Wings oddly enough, may have actually enjoyed more staying power than maybe you would have otherwise expected. While it was never the mega hit the NBC shows airing around it were (The Cosby Show, Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends, and even Mad About You), it was still a solid workhorse sitcom during NBC's Must See TV Thursday block back in the '90s. And when USA Network acquired its rerun rights, it seemed to make up like a solid third of the cable channel's daily schedule well into the 2000s.
