"Transplant" Renewed for Season 2 at NBC

NBC has ordered a second season of hit Canadian medical drama "Transplant".

The network acquired the drama series in May, weeks into the Covid-19 production shutdown, and it has been a huge success ratings-wise since debuting September 1.

This show is the worst medical drama in DECADES! Maybe EVER! Just not very interesting to watch.

When I first heard this title I thought it was about organ transplantation but it's obviously not. If anything, a show about organ transplantation would be a lot more interesting so I wonder why that hasn't been done yet??

Higginson recurred on Season 1 on the NBC medical drama as the hospital's head ER nurse.
