The fact that you could put a new intro, name and title card on the new reboot and it would blend right in with anything on ID channel show or TruTv show says a lot about the show. I don't think there is a huge audience for a UM show even if they stuck to the original format. We live in the age of technology where people want everything quick.

I think they could have created a really cool anthology series re-imagining some of the most fascinating and popular cases as an hour dramatization. Would have been very cool. Each episodes a different segment scripted with cool narration.

I think shows with the basic premise for UM are a dime a dozen now and the fact they deviated from the original format really shows that producers felt the OG version wouldn't work in this era.

It would be a great way to honor Stack and the series while bringing about awareness to the original for people who have never seen it.

I think that would be in poor taste myself.

I'm glad we have some new unsolved mysteries. Nothing will top the old ones with stack. Even Dennis farina did a good job with what he was given.

The main thing I miss now is a narrator and also I enjoyed the cases being shorter. How it is now reminds me of all the other stuff out there.

I'm still thankful we have new cases though and will continue to watch but I agree it's very similar to the others

Exactly this.
