While Googling "Laverne & Shirley" this past weekend following the death of David L. Lander, I came across this blog that had something I found very interesting. It compares "The Baby Show" episode where Sgt. Plout gives birth to the original script that was intended for Shirley to give birth. It is divided up into 7 different scenes. I've always wondered how it would have differed with Shirley and now we have an idea!

Interesting and it makes sense. Its such an odd script for the Sgt to come back as pregnant and insist on Laverne to help her.
