In a new interview, Miley Cyrus candidly delves into how Hannah Montana's basic premise affected her psychologically while growing up.

I blame Billy Ray for a good part of that since not only did he permit this to happen, but, in spite of knowing full well how stifling and confusing fame could be and even going on record saying so, he okayed this for Miley (to say nothing of that horrible 'Vanity Fair' photoshoot and video when she was still underage that he participated in). Yes, Miley has had a zillion problems as an adult and she's currently responsible for her own choices as an adult, but one can't discount how the whole 'Hannah Montana' deal when she was a teen has been a significant contributing factor.
