Heenan Fan 11-30-2020, 08:18 AM The Family Ties episode when they parodied the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future where Alex was a bald headed villian. Then a few seasons later when Alex got a gig as a department store Santa and the little girl's dad showed up unexpectedly on Christmas Eve.

All of these are great--a particular favorite is FKB from the first season (but the Angel's Sweater from the third season is a classic, too). Also like The Alan Brady Show Presents from Dick Van Dyke.
As far as Dennis goes, he did a pretty respectable job with Silent Night. As did Jon Provost on Lassie. I particularly liked the way they all join in over the credit roll.
Charley Knox 11-30-2020, 12:30 PM In no particular order:
The Flintstones-Christmas Flintstone
Happy Days-Guess Who’s Coming to Christmas
The Andy Griffith Show-Christmas Story
Bob Newhart Show-dreaming slight Christmas
Bob Newhart Show-His busiest season
The Mary Tyler Moore Show-Christmas Hardluck kid 2
The Homecoming: The Original Waltons Pilot
These are just some off the top of my head.
The Home Improvement and Touched By An Angel Christmas episodes.
treky 12-01-2020, 03:38 AM THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW-CHRISTMAS STORY

I have that first one on a DVD of Christmas sitcom episodes that my sister gave me a couple years ago.

I think the HI where Brad wants to go off with his friends, but at the last minute Tim persuades him to see Mark sing in the choir, is a classic.
stevea 12-02-2020, 11:22 PM Bewitched-Sisters at Heart
This is another classic, IMO - adapted from a story by an LA high school class.
jason88cubs 12-02-2020, 11:42 PM I think the HI where Brad wants to go off with his friends, but at the last minute Tim persuades him to see Mark sing in the choir, is a classic.
great episode!

My problem with the episode, was he and his friends are just a little too young for the ski resort plot. Should of held onto this script and waited til he was at least a junior in high school.
Merry24 12-03-2020, 12:43 AM Yes that Home Improvement episode is hilarious. After grounding Brad. I like it when Tim tells Brad don’t be sneaking down watching the Tool Time Merrython! lol! Remember No EL (AL)!
Too2muchtv 12-03-2020, 12:47 AM Both Mama's Family Christmas episodes
merlinjones 12-03-2020, 04:49 AM I like the Donna Reed Christmas episode with Buster Keaton as a secret Santa for the kid's ward at the hospital -- and the Bewitched episode with Billy Mumy as a rotten kid who needs to meet the real Santa. Also when the Beverly Hillbillies go back to Bugtussle for Christmas with Pearl and Jethrene. And Mary Tyler Moore when she had to work alone on Christmas.
AMackII 12-03-2020, 08:01 AM I like the 2-Part Saved by the Bell Christmas Episode titled “Home For Christmas”

Is this the episode of What's Happening where the kids go out for Christmas, expecting the mom to have to work on Christmas as she normally has to, leaving the mom alone in an empty house when she finally is able to get the holiday off?

Also, the writer's name should be DJBCAwards not DJBCAwardz.
TV Guy 01-02-2021, 08:50 PM Some good ones already mentioned here - “Christmas Cheers”, “No Room At the Inn” from “Newhart”, “Perspectives on Christmas” on “Frasier” (this is the one where Frasier unwittingly blabs about Roz’s pregnancy, right?). The “Santa Claus” episode of “Roseanne” is great, because of the priceless scenes where Roseanne is the mall Santa. “The Best Christmas” on “The Waltons” is even better than “The Homecoming”, IMHO.
“The Middle” had some memorable holiday episodes, and “A Simple Christmas” is one of the better ones.
TVFactFan 01-03-2021, 03:48 AM All the Norman Lear sitcom christmas episodes was too serious so I will have to say the Grady spinoff Christmas episode titled Merry Birthday Happy Xmas
It was fun from start to finish

You mean you didn’t want some “Naomi”? LOL. I think Sometimes There’s No Bottom In The Bottle was my favorite Good Times Christmas episode. I liked The Traveling Christmas a lot too but Penny’s Christmas was even better with Mrs. Dobbs getting drunk off the eggnog.

she was hottie but I felt the episode focused too much on a character we never seen before. And it was never any follow up on whether or not she stopped drinking. Not even in the tag scene. Why spend that much time on her drinking problem and never mention it in the tag or future eps? lol

The only part I didn’t like about the Sometimes There’s No Bottom In The Bottle was when Naomi’s father A.K.A. Balderman Davis laughed at Naomi passing out from the alcoholic like he was proud of it lol
