Wow. I was born in ‘76, so I really have no recollection of the episodes or storylines, but I do have fond memories of the show opening and the theme song. I also remember, as a child that I loved the girls’ wall decor and as Asian American young girl, I remember favoring Jackie, as I favored most brunettes of that era (Jaclyn Smith, Lynda Carter etc). I also remember going to the grocery with my folks and seeing a magazine cover showcasing that the Rush’s were having a baby. Most of all, I remember that Jm J Bullock made me laugh, most likely from my avid Hollywood Squares watching with my grandma.

In my rewatch, I have really enjoyed all of the episodes and not just because of nostalgia- it’s really a sweet, funny show! When I was home for Thanksgiving, I put it on the tv and my folks remembered liking this show and that they used to watch it...why? Because it came on after their most favorite show “Three’s Company”!

I’m glad that I found this site, as I rewatch other shows from my childhood- Diff’rent Strokes, Three’s Company and Facts of Life, but I have to say that this is my favorite show to watch. 40 years! I just can’t believe it.

Too Close has got to be the greatest show of ALL TIME that 99% of the public has never heard of!

Also probably the most underrated show EVER! Too bad Ted Knight didn't live longer because the show was still WAY better than anything on today!

I like how Lydia is always promoting TCFC on her social media.

Another show from the same era that I also liked was "It's a Living". It seems none of the former stars of that show want to be associated with it anymore.
