Scattered showers, mainly before 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Warmest Thanksgiving since 2007. But then, 2020 gonna 2020.

Yeah, I’m absolutely exhausted.. This past week has been brutal, and I have to also sleep and be back up by 2am “tomorrow” between now and then.

Chad22

Though honestly, it was never really "easy". We just for whatever reason in 2003 decided to wake up at 5 AM and then kept doing it for years and it was always kind of a pain having to try and fall asleep early enough to not feel like zombies all day.

And here I complain over an inch of slush in January. But I know you adore the cold (or is it more detest the heat?), so it works out.

Do you recall if you liked it? I visited some years back and I was very impressed. Also amused at all the Canadians - so many Canadians!

I definitely prefer the cold to the heat.

I love snow too when there's just a little bit of it. Once we get huge snow banks then I'll complain too cause they make it a pain to walk around town.

Getting up at 8 AM is a major change enough I've made, earlier than that and my body would probably refuse  . A lot of you need to stop living in the future so I can get in on these festivities at the correct time (though it used to work out for me when I was a night owl when you'd wake up at 5 and it would be 2 in the morning for me) so I guess this is the reverse now.

 Something that intrigues me in the new NBA game is that once you reach the highest status in the game, there's a Flash like picture previewing what you get. I highly doubt that they let you actually run like the Flash but I'm curious to see what it is when someone gets there.

Yeah, I hear ya. I wake up in the morning now too but usually at like 10 or 11.

So 8 was actually still early for me.

Thanks, man. Last year was rough and then with this year being as crazy as it has I'm still not sure I've ever really found a new "normal" but hopefully 2021 brings it. It does get easier with time but I still miss her like crazy. Always will.

Well here's hoping 2021 is nothing like this year. I think we all need a fresh start. (Especially TF with his constant import-export activities)

In all seriousness I do hope you find more peace in time.

But like, it's not bad. They did one episode with two of the kids fighting over the same girl that was pretty funny. I actually kinda liked it better when they let the new characters do stuff and it was less of a reminder that it's not Saved By The Bell.

You are actually Solomon. The old Chad didn't agree Good Times wasn't a spin off. Had to go.

Maybe cause it's not-LOL

It wasn't bad but it was very much made for kids. It was fun when Mr. Feeny and the other Boy Meets World cast showed up though.

I remember watching the Wonder Years a decade or so ago and felt the same way. It really is a timeless show.

Someday I may watch just to check out the original cast cameos. Its definitely the appeal for me.

It's been a while since I've watched it too but scenes like that were great. I'm kind of glad there's a lot of channels out there keeping the spirit of the old TV Land alive and seem to be doing well enough to bring in more and more shows to add on.

Though it is weird when you do watch those channels and all the ads are targeted to older people but I'm also used to that aspect with wrestling at times where they end up with weird ads too

 I think we're just the weird generation that liked old shows when we were kids cause of Nick At Nite.

Though my sister is 20 and loves Friends, which as weird as it is to think, is as old for her as Happy Days was for me.

Whenever I think about The Wonder Years I think about that hilarious random argument the parents had about Pepsi.

Have a good meal! I'm probably not on much longer here either but hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving and I should check back later at some point to see the food reports.

Good to see ya and I hope you’re having a good Thanksgiving as well

It's so crazy how unchanged it is. It's amazing that a website can bring so much nostalgia. I can't believe it's closing in on 20yrs of Thanksgiving threads
Yup! and the stuffing thread!

Nice.

TV Land kinda went to crap a long time ago so I don't watch old shows as much anymore but I kinda rediscovered Bewitched and I Dream Of Jeannie on Amazon Prime. A lot of fun rewatching those.

A lot of those are on prime and some are on Netflix! Yeah TV Land is basically westerns and king of queens now LOL. MeTV is what old TV Land is.

That's a great one too but True was always my Ryan Cabrera song. It spoke to me.

And now he's randomly engaged to Alexa Bliss.

Our "retro" channel here has stepped up their game big time. This Fall they added Get Smart, Gilligan's Island, Odd Couple, The Brady Bunch and Bewitched to their daily lineup. I've been working from home, so I've had that channel on all day in the background.

I definitely remember those later years being pretty shoddy... but, it's always fun to see those weird random later years characters they threw into the show.

I was just looking up Happy Days and forgot about that amazing season 1 Christmas episode with the Fonz having no where to go. Definitely going to watch that one before Christmas.
Yeah. Roger, Jenny Piccalo, Ashley, Heather and others are great.

That's a great episode. Those early seasons had a lot of brilliance.
