we all scream for ice cream!
One of my favorite episodes today. Particularly where Ward, in giving the mandatory debriefing to make sure Wally understands that violence is not a preferred course of action, appears to let on that he finds a little joy himself in the realization that the villains had been "schooled".
OH Nuts!

Yes, this was on MeTV today. But those two as##oles Eddie and Lumpy richly deserved it. Especially Eddie, as he the one who thought of the scheme with gullible Lumpy just following along. My only complaint: he should have “served” each the ice cream with little chocolate syrup!

Mr. Rogers was sure a hothead. Not exactly the father of the year!

I like how the girls act like Wally is one of the Beatles. "Wally Cleaver! Ooooo!"

Ann, the girl who walked into the soda fountain, was never even at the party. Wally Cleaver Oooooo.
Love how Wally pats Eddie’s sweater full of melted vanilla. “You’re a good kid!”
Mr. Rogers was a hothead for sure. He just pushed Wally right out the door without an explanation.
Question:
What other ‘crusty but benign’ gentleman threw Wally out his door too?
OH Nuts!

Yes he was kind of a jerk and really needed a chill-pill.

Was it Mr. Gregory, Kathy's hothead father?

I enjoy seeing the way they portray the girls of those days, even though I was around in those days - be it I was elementary school age - some seem real and some not so much -
Where Wally has the dance date with the tall girl, she was exceptionally good looking ... maybe the show didn't want to upstage the show's regulars with a new "beautiful attraction" and make her a regular ?
