View Full Version : What could Jimmy Pearson have done to be better? :)
Janice Johnson 11-25-2020, 05:59 AM Comments from another thread on here about Jimmy Pearson seeming corny and fake at the end of The Politicians inspired me to make this thread.
Jimmy had GOOD ideas, but came off as dull. Even though James voted for Alderman Fred C. Davis, who was definitely not a crook(Fingers waving sign thing, LMAO! :D:lol::crazy:. James told Jimmy something like,"Your problem in the Debate was that you were talking AT the Voters, not TO them." Jimmy then went into Forced Cockiness,"I'm going to be back, Jack!" And GT Fans found that forced cockiness fake and corny. He went the extreme opposite of dull. What do you think Jimmy could have done better? :) I personally think he should have had a balance between dull and corny, forced cockiness and fake. He seemed like he was trying hard to emulate Alderman Davis. Maybe talk about fixing the issues in a FUN way, but not the fake/Corny/ forced cockiness he was showing at the end.

Jimmy Pearson was the type of black person that's considered corny in the ghetto that's why he didnt get any votes

Stop being so corny and cringeworthy and fake and weak “trying to deflect to the issues”. He could’ve beat Balderman Davis’s BUTT but after he pranced around and played around like George Jefferson and did that “I’ll Be Back, Jack” Act, I didn’t blame people for voting for that dirty, phony skank Balderman Davis lol

TVLegend 11-26-2020, 02:16 AM Yeah was talking AT the people not TO THEM:lol:
Yeah but I just can’t believe James voted for Balderman Davis lol that was SO out of character for James sounds and seems like something Florida’s dumbass would do lol but yeah you’re right he was talking AT the people not To THEM he wasn’t reaching em he didn’t want to expose and call out Davis which could’ve drawn in way more votes he wanted to “focus on the issues” and play around he wasn’t getting to the people

But, isn't focusing on the issues what a GOOD Political Candidate does? I remember someone saying a BAD Political Candidate mudslings his or her Rival while NOT talking about how they are any better.....

Hey, it's Alderman Fred C Davis HIMSELF! Jimmy didn't get ZERO votes, he got THREE votes! Get it right, Alderman!

Yes, but he could’ve pointed out the bad things Balderman Davis was doing and what he wasn’t doing for the community and exposed him while he was focusing on the issues. But he didn’t. He was talking AT the people and not TO them so that’s why he didn’t reach them. And after that “I’ll Be Back, Jack” Act he did at the end of the episode, I don’t blame people for not taking him seriously. Why didn’t he just admit that he wasn’t reaching or convincing or getting to the people (like he did), say he’ll try to convince and communicate with the people next time, and walk away instead of acting like a fool?
Janice Johnson 11-30-2020, 04:53 AM To the People who suggested that Jimmy Pearson call out Fred, Remember JJ(NOT Jimmy, ;) DID call out Fred in a later episode, and people LOVED Fred even MORE!

I always thought the forced cockiness was to show James that he was trying to take James's advice seriously. But the forced cockiness is NOT who Jimmy was. Jimmy was a serious person. The forced cockiness looked like he was doing a parody or something. Jimmy should have hired a Campaign Manager that could help him be serious, but NOT talk at the audience, but to/with the Audience. :)
