I just finished watching Season 1 of The Mandalorian and I noticed that on nearly every single episode that Baby Yoda always seems to get stolen or kidnapped or they try to do something to him like attack him or hurt him and I haven't figured it out?. Is it because they think Baby Yoda is evil or is it because Baby Yoda frightens people and they want to protect the people? My mother who has seen some episodes of The Mandalorian with me has a soft spot for Baby Yoda and she dislikes when something happens to Baby Yoda. Also I noticed at the end of the final episode of Season 1 The Mandalorian gives Baby Yoda a pendant that's the same one that the Baby Yoda toys have and I want to know what the pendant does? Does it protect Baby Yoda from harm?

Hi, Bestie! Baby Yoda is "The Child" He has something in him that "The Client" wants to take out of him and use. Mandolorian knows that this would kill Baby Yoda and so he is protecting and hiding him from "The Client". That is all I know about it.

You may already know this by now, but the pendant Mando gave Grogu was in case Mando (Din Djarin) was killed, the pendant would prove to the Mandalorians that Grogu was sent by Mando himself.
