Some Facts stories based on real life situations.

Natalie is Jewish just like Mindy. She's also a student of a girls school just like Mindy

Mrs. Garrett is from Wisconsin just like Mrs. Rae. She also has a sister named Beverly, a marriage that ended in divorce and two sons.

Molly, George and Geri play characters named after them.

In season 5, Charlotte Rae talks about her father's death (well, Mrs. Garrett's father)

In season 2, when Mrs. G and Alex are in the cafeteria, she said her dreams changed and that she was no longer a housekeeper. There is a line: "Five years? Who knows?". I don't know if this counts but I found it interesting. Charlotte was no longer a supporting character and she left the show five years after that episode (1981).

Nancy O. had an interest in psychology, had the highest IQ, and was obsessed with Mikhail Baryshnikov. So did Felice Schacter.

Molly Ringwald is a feminist and social justice warrior in addition to being a geek (her words). Same with Molly Parker. Just look at Molly Ringwald's social media posts and they look pretty much the same that you would expect Molly Parker's to be.

Julie Anne Haddock identified herself as a tomboy and not very girly. Same with Cindy.

Some minor ones. Kim's favorite music artist was Kool and the Gang and Michael Jackson, so was Tootie's I saw that Blair had a picture of Michael McDonald above her bed over the Cafeteria. Lisa is a big Michael McDonald fan (later got Kim to be one).

Mindy was born in 1966, so was Natalie.

Geri pretty much played herself since she is a comedian.

Sue Ann from from the Midwest. Julie Pie's is also from the midwest and has a middle name of Ann.

Natalie laughed at her own jokes, so did Mindy.

Sue Ann was from the Midwest, where Julie Pie is really from.

Nancy is a fan of Baryshnikov, just like Felice was.

Molly attended a boarding school, just like Molly did. Molly Ringwald had recorded songs professionally, while Molly Parker sang songs on the show.

Nancy McKeon really was from the New York City area.

Lisa, much like Blair, was the product of parents who had split up, though her parents didn't divorce until 1981.
