View Full Version : My brother's ex has died.
MrCleveland 11-17-2020, 09:35 PM I dunno how to feel about this...she screwed my brother over four years ago, she was inappropriately dressed at my mother's funeral, and had me kicked-out of my house once.
I just want to do what Vivian Vance did when William Frawley died...let's get the champagne!
Umm, condolences?

This was the woman I called Yoko.

Yeah, I figured it was her ! How old was she? What was the cause of death?

37 or 38...probably drug overdose.
Of all the drugs that are illegal which is cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine...those should remain illegal because they are killer drugs!

Oh no :(

You should never be happy when someone dies
TVShowAddict 11-21-2020, 07:01 PM You should never be happy when someone dies
Unless someone is evil

I'm bittersweet about this one...she ruined my brother's life and ruined hers even more so...

Never say never.
Were you happy when they whacked Osama Bin Laden?
I was euphoric. :D

Please don’t turn this into politic mess. What the HELL does Osama Bin Laden have to do with someone’s brother’s ex dying? So irrelevant.
RetroGuy2000 11-22-2020, 02:13 PM I thought Babalu made a cogent point: there are some people who aren't worth feeling bad about their deaths. OBL is one, for sure. I'm not sure MrCleveland's ex-sister-in-law rises to that level, of course, but Babalu wasn't wrong, IMO. MrCleveland has enough stress in his life without worrying about an ex-sister-in-law who was clearly troubled.

Yes, he did make a cogent point but it’s sort of irrelevant and has nothing to do with MrCleveland’s ex sister-in-law dying.
Bonniegirl 11-22-2020, 02:28 PM Prayers to her and her family and may she rest in peace ! As for Mr. Cleveland, I appreciate his honesty in that he isn't in mourning over her death!
Being her young age and I'm sure she has some family , I offer my condolences even though I didn't know this person at all. But Mr. Cleveland shouldn't be made to feel bad if he doesn't feel upset by her death !

Yes. One very important lesson I learned from television, regarding the deaths of relatives:
"You don't gotta feel nothing but what you feel." -Roseanne, S05E16, "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home".

MrCleveland 11-22-2020, 07:37 PM My brother's ex was never part of my family...if she was, my in-law, my brother would be a widower now...35 is TOO young to be widowed...my brother never married her and there was legal issues.
But she took cocaine, medication pills, and hard liquor. This is the part that bugs me...I had two enemies of mine who overdosed. If I'm involved with The War on Drugs, the drugs I'd fight to leave-off the streets is cocaine, heroin, crystal meth, ecstasy, and some medications...especially the ones Michael Jackson and Prince took.
Dude111 11-23-2020, 01:27 AM Im so sorry but Im glad you are happy :)
