Which character is better Eric or Shawn? I'm not saying who's funnier or who's cuter but which is better. I started this with my friends and currently I have the standings at Eric:7 Shawn:2.

I like Eric more, before I said Shawn but Eric grows on you

Shawn. He's so sweet and always makes me laugh.

Eric all the way! Shawn could be pretty hard to take at times -- always whining about something. But Eric was always delighting the viewers and adding something special to each episode, even when they gave him nothing but sucky lines & stupid situations (which was often) he (Friedle) really made the character sing!

Eric, no question. He was funny, but at times could be serious but even when he was serious, he was still Eric, making everyone laugh. Shawn was kinda moody, and always having some problem with something, and really flaky at times.

Okay, I'm a newbie, and I have watched BMW on and off since it started, mainly because I was too young to understand it all, but now that I'm much older (18) I've seen re-runs on Disney Channel (before I moved to Florida which for some unknown reason made Disney a premium channel) and I think the show ROX! I love every single episode and I can not wait for season 1 to finally be released on DVD....I just might go and pre-order it on Amazon!


as for my vote on who is better, I'd have to say, SHAWN all the way....here are my reasons:

1) He's hott
2) He's a GREAT friend to Cory
3) He's reliable
4) He's funny
5) He's honest

Not in any specific order, I just listed 'em as I thought of 'em.

Hard choice! I love both of them!

But, if I HAD to choose, I woud say Eric because he seems more... loveable.
