In Los Angeles earlier today, a gunman opened fire at the ticket

Truth 07-04-2002, 05:46 PM now im thinking maybe it was just some normal guy who did it at that time and at that place just to get national attention...
Mr. Shy Guy 07-04-2002, 05:47 PM I just heard about this myself. I also heard that somebody for Isreal is calling this an act of terrorism.
Also, a small plane crashed 15 miles from LA killing 1 person and injuring 10 people.
*Marilyn Monroe* 07-04-2002, 06:16 PM What the heck is wrong with people?? I dont understand why people hate the US so much! It's not like the people in the airport did anything to deserve getting shot, so why do it? I dont get it.

I don't know why, but a lot of countries on earth hate the US because we're a lot more fortunate than they are, and they hink we don't deserve it. We're more technologicaly advanced while some countries on earth just want clean water and medicine. But if you look back a couple of thousands of years, the middle east was the most advanced area in the world. I mean they were so advanced in science, math, and medicine that it made the rest of world seems so poor. But somehow the middle east went downhill and is where it is today.
AllIWantIsYourClutch 07-05-2002, 12:55 PM The guy was Egyptian. I just saw that on AOL's front page. It said it's not a terrorist attack.

And Isreals calling it a terrorist attack because it was an "act of terror" but i dont think it was meant against the us as a nation... maybe whn the news actually gives us some good info we can figure out what the hell is going on in the country.
