I saw on the General Discussion forum that Jeremy Stevens, who was a writer during the entire run of Everybody Loves Raymond, passed away last week.

He was also an actor, and he actually was trained in the same class as Peter Boyle under a famous teacher. I'm not sure if he appeared in any ELR episodes, though. He looks like one of the extras in Odd Man Out (at Marie's birthday party) or The Cult (as one of the members of Inner Path), but it's hard to tell, since extras aren't given credits.
Stevens did a 3.5-hour video interview at the Television Academy web site. Seems like a really nice guy.
