I was watching the episode where Sanford fell off the truck and Lamont hire a white maid to help with house work. In the show beginning Lamont cook eggs for beefsteak for Fred and bring it to him. Fred told Lamont that he should have known that he doesn't like his eggs sunny side up.

But in the later episode with the Three Degrees singing group, girls were cooking breakfast and asked Fred how he like his eggs. He said he like his both eggs looking at him meaning sunny side up.

Fred probably got temporary memory loss being around those beautiful girls not knowing how he like his eggs cooked :D

Just poor writing. Like sometimes Lamont's room is the first door on the right upstairs, and sometimes it's the door on the left.

Or they might had different writers writing for the show not knowing what was said before. Such as Richard Pryor did couple of episode write up.

I remember in one episode where Fred was talking to a lady that was selling household product. Fred told her that he saved up nice little nest egg for rainy day. But we never heard more about the nest egg before or after that episode.

There are many continuity errors throughout the series.

I prefer scrambled myself or better yet, one full egg & three egg whites (so my cholesterol doesn’t rise)

I like scramble eggs myself, but like to chop up some hotdogs and add it to the eggs. Anybody I tell that to say I am crazy, but they eat eggs like that in England too.

what do you do with the other yolks ?

You don't eat them ?
throw them away ?
give them to someone else ?

There's a doctor that says if you were to have to choose a few basic foods to survive on (for whatever reason) - Soft yolk cooked eggs & butter would keep you alive the longest. Not sure how right he is +-
