My guess is that they did the Cosby Show with some I Love Lucy. Other than the multiple cameras, I will say that there was a live band that performed the themes in front of or before the studio audience. Prehaps it was composed on a computer. Or maybe The Cosby band members recorded the themes in the recording studio and the recording of the themes aired when the credits were being edited.
