I wonder what they mean by “an episode will present all new unsolved cases and take a deep dive into a specific story.“ Does that mean these are brand new cases not covered by the show? Or does it mean they are covering a new unsolved case every week that is from the show with a deep dive? If it’s the later that would be worth listening to. Hearing Terry Meurer talk about totally new cases doesn’t seem particularly gripping. Way better podcasts out there for that.

Well I have to wonder if the "deep dive" will focus on production notes or behind the scenes info since Meurer is a producer, I don't know how interesting that would be, but it's something that came to mind.

I'll probably listen, but I dunno if i'm invested really, just make the episodes better.

Just sounds like every other true crime podcast out there already. What would be a lot more interesting is discussing how the show was made-production, sound, music, casting etc & looking back at old cases. Really amazed there have never been books on the cases released with updates, stuff that was coming into the phone lines etc.

Am not a big fan of the new UM, but will give this a go (as it seems more convenient than pulling up YT to watch reruns of the Stack episodes lol)
