That they will put The Facts of Life on DVD. All kinds of other tv shows are on DVD. The Simpsons, Sex In The City, MASH, All In The Family, The X-Files, Buffy The Vampire Slayer,The Andy Griffith Shows, and Little House of The Prarie.

The complete first season was released just recently. Retail about $40.

As for Andy Griffith, there have been no "official" releases, but many small ones with 4 episodes or so. Recently, a smashing (and inexpensive) 16-episode DVD set was released.

Yes, maybe they would for their (25th Anniversary) in 2004! That would be pretty cool to release it 1st season, but would anybody buy that is the question :( But the FOL fans on this board would, (I would). But if they didn't I know TV Land would celebrate with a mini-marathon, or perhaps bring it to TV Land! Like they did for Three's Company (but they didn't bring it to their network). But if you really want FOL on DVD make a petition.....

But to tell you the truth I don't know if FOL will come to DVD. Maybe they released All in the Family, M.A.S.H, Andy Griffith, and Now I Love Lucy, Sanford and Son, The Jeffersons and in September Mary Tyler Moore! The reason why these were on DVD beacuse of popularity and the performances, and I don't see why FOL can't be on DVD because it had all of that!

So just wait maybe one day...............

I really doubt it will happen. I really don't think it is all that popular regardless what the fans say.
