(Ralph just stayed up to watch the game.)
Alice (from bedroom, yells): "RALPH, COME TO BED. YOU HAVE TO GOT TO WORK. THIS IS CRAZY THAT YOU STAYED UP FOR A GAME IN WHICH THE YANKEES WERE WINNING 9-3."
Ralph: "So what Alice? It was a great game. The Rays are tough and we showed them who is the boss."
(Ed comes down.)
Ed: "Whaddaya say Ralphie? What about the game huh? The Yankees beat the Rays."
(Alice comes out.)
Alice: "Ed, don't you think you should be upstairs? You have to got to work too."
Ed: "I need not worry. I drank a lot of caffeinne tonight for tonight's game."
Ralph: "You drink coffee?"
Ed: "Oh yeah. I drink it at the job hopefully the tide doesn't wash away the coffee."
(Ralph rolls his eyes.)
Ralph: "Well, now that the Yankees showed the Rays who is the boss, it should be smooth sailing."
Alice: "Ralph, the Rays beat the Yankees a lot during the regualr season."
Ralph: "Oh, the Yankees were looking past them. It's too bad that MLB decided that the games of this series are in San Diego and not New York or Tampa. If the Yankees played in Tampa, they would have the honor of playing only a mere several hours away from Miami Beach."
(Crowd cheers.)
Ed: "It's time for the Yankees to advance and show MLB who is the boss."
(They all sing a song about showing MLB who is the boss.)
(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)
Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"
(Crowd cheers.)
