We all know that Marlo made the decision to not marry Donald at the end of the series for her own socio-political objective.
But does anyone have info that would establish if Marlo Thomas played "spoiler" over the course of the entire series run, shaping scripts to reflect the way she personally thought "things oughta be"?
With her father wielding the clout he had in the industry, it's not hard to imagine her enjoying the perspective of being empowered to dictate policy to the writers. Just wondering if that was a prevalent or recurring issue.
