On today's 6PM episode of Barney Miller, one of the prisoners mentioned a few times what a lousy show Welcome Back, Kotter is. That was kind of odd as that season Kotter led off ABC Thursdays, and it was Barney Miller's first year as the 9PM anchor for the night. Kotter hadn't jumped the shark yet either, as this was season 3. I don't remember if Kotter took revenge and dissed Barney Miller.

Not exactly a diss, but I recall an episode of Welcome Back, Kotter where Mr. Kotter was about to tell a joke and Mr. Woodman said "Get on with it, Kotter, I wanna watch Barney Miller!"

Apparently Captain Miller and Detective Fish weren't too fond of the sweathogs. :lol:
