Question for all you fans of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Now, during the course of its 6 year run, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was Videotaped at 3 different studios

Now, the very 1st season of Fresh Prince when Series Creators Andy & Susan Borowitz were the Executive Producers of the series, the show was Taped at Hollywood Center Studios in HOLLYWOOD which was the home to many shows including The Crew, JEOPARDY! with Alex Trebek for 8 years, Supermarket Sweep and of course, Soul Train with the late Don Cornelius

But during the 2nd and 3rd Seasons of Fresh Prince, Producer Quincy Jones and Creators Andy & Susan Borowitz (who became the Executive Consultants for the remainder of the series) hired Writer & Producer Winifred Hervey Creator of In the House and The Steve Harvey Show to become the Executive Producer for the next 2 seasons and the show made the move to Sunset Gower Studios in HOLLYWOOD which was the home to The Final Season of California Dreams, the Final 3 Seasons of Hang Time (The Dick Butkus Years), USA High, City Guys, Saved By the Bell: The College Years, Brotherly Love and of course, The Golden Girls and that's when Season 2 became a Top 25 Hit and Season 3 became a Top 20 Hit and it even survived the L.A. Riots in 1992 and the show got a brand new set

and during the final 3 seasons of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air came some changes:

Winifred Hervey stepped down as Executive Producer, Janet Hubert was fired from the show and the show hired Daphne Maxwell Reid (wife of Veteran Actor Tim Reid of WKRP, Simon & Simon and Sister Sister) who's best known for appearing in the Music Video for The Whispers entitled "It's a Love Thing" and star of Frank's Place and Snoops took over as the NEW Aunt Viv and the show was Videotaped at the NBC Studios in Burbank, CA which was the home to many shows including Wheel of Fortune from 1975-1989, Password Plus & Super Password, Classic Concentration and of course, The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as well as Santa Barbara and Saved By the Bell: The New Class and the show had 3 different Producers Season 4 had Gary H. Miller, Season 5 had Miller and later Cheryl Gard comin' back to Fresh Prince after her 1 year stint as Producer of Season 2 of Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and The Final Season had the late Jeff Pollack and Will Smith as Executive Producers of the series

and so, I ask you all this:

What was going on with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air moving to 3 different studios and also, was the laughter from the studio audiences any different when they were in different studios?

I don't think it's that unusual for long-running shows to move studios. I remember The Facts of Life was taped at three different studios, over its nine seasons. I adored Fresh Prince when it was on, and am glad there will be a cast reunion.
