Riverdale and Batwoman shut down production, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl delay production over Vancouver coronavirus testing delays (https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/riverdale-batwoman-shut-down-coronavirus-testing-1234787386/)

Variety reports that the Vancouver-based stoppages are "assumed to be temporary" because "there is a single lab company approved to oversee coronavirus testing, and the company is prioritizing schools, which have reopened in the province, and local businesses." Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow were expected to start production later this week. It's unclear if other Vancouver-based shows like A Million Little Things and The Good Doctor are affected by the testing delays.

Nancy Drew, Charmed and Big Sky are the latest shows to shut down over Vancouver coronavirus testing delays (https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/riverdale-batwoman-shut-down-coronavirus-testing-1234787386/)

The two CW shows and the ABC series join Riverdale and Batwoman (https://www.primetimer.com/item/Riverdale-and-Batwoman-shut-down-production-Legends-of-Tomorrow-and-Supergirl-delay-production-over-Vancouver-coronavirus-testing-delays-RBSQwE) in shutting down because one Vancouver lab that is approved to handle their testing is prioritizing schools at the moment. Hulu's The Mysterious Benedict Society has also been shut down. “There were some delays in test results, so out of caution we shut down yesterday and today," Big Sky creator David E. Kelley said this morning. "We expect to resume production either tomorrow or Friday.”
