At least when The Brady Bunch debuted in 1969?

Florence Henderson at the time, primarily known as a Broadway star who did lots of NYC-based game shows and talk shows. Florence was also on the Today show as the weather girl. Her most noteworthy acting role around the same time of TBB was probably Song of Norway.

Robert Reed was on The Defenders, was considered a very prestigious if middling show. But he had never done comedy before TBB.

I'm assuming that Ann B Davis received a special "And" credit (besides not a parent or a child) because she was an Emmy winning TV star in the mid-'50s on The Bob Cummings Show and regularly guest starred on many TV series in the '60s.

He had already done episodes of The Danny Thomas Show, Father Knows Best and Family Affair when he signed on to do The Brady Bunch.

To answer your question, I do feel like Ann B. Davis was the biggest star at the time.
