I know this has been mentioned before, but it's been bugging me:
As i was watching one of CHARLOTTE RAE's interviewed on YouTube last night, she kept saying how she had all this love for the 'Different strokes' kids, but she didn't mention the 'Facts of life' kids at all, and to be honest i was quite surprised: i was always under the impression that she was closer to all the FOL kids? I mean, she spent 7 years on the set with them, most of her time caring for them and having heart to heart talk with the girls.
On the other hand, from what i have seen on DS: CHARLOTTE didn't seem to constantly being around them or interfering with them that much (except for little ARNOLD) and yet, on this mini interview about 'Different strokes', she was telling how much she cared for the DS kids?
Can anyone enlighten me on that one? Does anyone know what interview i'm talking about?
PS: it puzzles me really, cos when you watch some of the TV land awards, it's been said that CHARLOTTE RAE (while alive) had been closest and in contact with the 'Core of 4', but the DS kids are never seen with her (except TODD BRIDGES briefly on one occasion).
To my knowledge, CHARLOTTE had the greatest chemistry with the FOL kids lol!
