AVENTURES ON THE HIGH SEAS - season # 7
IN THE LIVING ROOM ------------
Tootie ~ (sitting on the sofa watching a TV program)
TV announcer (you just here his voice) James Robinson was last spotted somewhere in up state New York. Police have been receiving tips from all over the Country, but they still need your help to put this jewel thief behind bars. If you’ve seen James Robinson, please call the number on the bottom of your screen (the seen cuts off as we get to see a profile of James Robinson)
Tootie: (turns off the TV and walks into the shop) Hi Mrs. Garrett sorry I’m late (she then walks over and locks the door)
Natalie: Tootie what are you doing? We don’t close for another 4 hours (she walks over and unlocks the door)
Tootie: Natalie I’m doing this for our own good (she locks the door) James Robinson was last spotted in up state New York
Jo: Tootie James Robinson is a jewel thief he’s not gonnea come into a card shop (she unlocks the door again)
Blair: (walks in the shop carrying 5 envelopes) Hello all I got the tickets (she hands each of them there tickets) I can’t wait to see my cousin get married next week
Mrs. Garrett: well Blair I want to thank you again for inviting all of us along
Blair: (smiles at Mrs. Garrett) No problems besides what’s a wedding is no fun unless all your friends are there (she puts her arm around Jo)
Jo: (looks at Blair with a very nervous face) there’s no chance your cousin’s might change her mind and get married on dry land
Blair: Jo stop being so nervous everything’s gonnea be fine
Jo: tell that to my stomach
Tootie: Jo don’t worry will get you some seasick pills before we go
Blair: Oh and speaking of going I better go call Jennifer and see if there are any last minute arrangements to be made (Blair leaves the shop and heads into the living room)
Tootie: (spots a customer, wearing a long black coat, with there back to her) Oh my gosh it’s him
Jo: it’s who?
Tootie: (speaks in a whisper) James Robinson
Natalie: (talking rather loudly) get out of here that’s not James Robin
Tootie: (quickly puts her hand over Natalie’s mouth) Natalie be quite (pauses for a second) I’m calling the police
Mrs. Garrett: Tootie you have no proof that person really is James Robinson
Tootie: He’s been profiled on the News 6 times already no believe me I would no James Robinson anywhere
Jo: well there is one way to find out if that really is James Robinson
Natalie: how?
Jo: (shouts out) YO ARE YOU JAMES ROBINSON
Customer: (who was wearing the long black coat turns around turns out to be a women) no I’m not
Jo: (looks over at Tootie and gives her an I told you so look)
Mrs. Garrett: (walks over towards the women and assists her)
Tootie: I was almost sure that was James Robinson
(A few more customers walk into the shop and the girls assist them)
UP IN THE GIRLS ROOM-------
Blair: (comes out of the restroom) well we better get a good nights sleep tonight tomorrow were off for adventures on the high seas (she sits down on her bed) Oh Jo before I forget here are your seasick pill
Jo: thanks Blair now are you sure these are gonnea work
Blair: of course don’t worry so much Jo you’ll be fine
Natalie: Blair’s right just go and have a good time
Tootie: (bursts into the room) you guys won’t believe what I just saw on the News
Jo: (sounding annoyed) Oh no not again let me guess James Robinson was reported robbing another jewelry store today
Tootie: Elkridge jewelry store in Peekskill New York
(everyone looks around at everyone else in shock)
Blair: that’s only 3 blocks away from us
(After a few more moments of silence the girls all begin screaming as they gather up their valuables. They begin tossing blankets around the room, walking around, and tripping over each other)
IN THE LIVING ROOM-------
Jo: (standing at the top of the stairs leans over and see’s that there is nobody in there living room) the coast is clear let’s go
(the girls all walk down the stairs since it’s dark they can’t be seen right now)
Tootie: I’ll turn on the light
Natalie: OW Tootie that’s my nose
Tootie: sorry Nat
(as the lights turn on Mrs. Garrett is standing there holding a glass of milk
(everyone screams, and Mrs. Garrett spills her milk on the floor)
Blair: Mrs. Garrett you scared us
Mrs. Garrett: (still trying to get her breath) I scared you? You girls nearly gave me a heart attack (she notices the girls holding different things Natalie is holding some old Newpapers with articles that she had written for the Eastlanlander, Jo is holding a road safety kid, Tootie is holding several of her drama awards, and Blair is holding, her jewelry box) what’s with all that stuff
Natalie: James Robinson robbed the Elkridge jewelry store today just 3 blocks away
Mrs. Garrett: (shakes her head in anger) alright that’s enough you girls have become way to envolved in this case. I want you to go upstairs and go back to bed. Were leaving early in the morning for the cruise
Jo: (looks at the others) come on you guys Mrs. G is right besides James Robinson robs Jewerly stores so I doubt he’s ever gonnea try to rob us
Natalie: I guess your right (smiles a little bit)
Tootie: (smiles a little bit) yeah besides none of us have any jewels that are worth stealing
Blair: (looks down at her jewelry box and everyone looks over at Blair then at each other)
Natalie: looks like it’s gonnea be a long time
Mrs. Garrett: I’ll go and make some hot coco (she leaves the room)
Jo: Ok when mrs. G gets back we drink the coco we all head up to bed alright
Natalie: I’ll go get something to clean up this mess (referring to the spilled milk) (she leaves the room)
(The screen flips, Jo and Blair are asleep on opposites ends of the couch)
jo: (who is sleeping on the couch stretches. she looks at her watch and quickly gets up from the couch) hey Blair wake up
Blair: (sounding very tried and confused) Jo what do you want
Jo: (shaking her to get up) Blair get up the limo will be here in 45 minutes
Blair: Ok ok (sounding a little bit more awake) I’m getting up my neck is killing me
Jo: my back is killing me. It’s proberly from sleeping on the sofa last night
Mrs. Garrett: (comes in carrying a tray of food) good morning girls breakfast is served (she puts the tray down in the table) where are Natalie and Tootie (she puts the tray down on the table)
Natalie: (comes downstairs the same time as Tootie) morning everybody
(everyone walks over to the table. They all start eating breakfast but Jo)
Blair: Did you guys sleep upstairs last night
Tootie: (takes a sip of oj) yeah we went up around 12:30
Jo: well why didn’t you wake us so we could go upstairs too
Natalie: we were going to snoring was so loud (butters her toast)
Tootie: and we wanted to get a good nights rest
Blair: see I told you snore Jo (takes a bite of her bacon) I swear some nights your snoring is so loud I bet you can break the sound barrier
Natalie: Blair Jo wasn’t snorning last night you were
(everyone except Blair laughs)
Blair: (looking shocked) I don’t snore
Mrs. Garrett: Blair everybody snores
Blair: well not me I’ve never heard myself snore
Jo: how could you your asleep
Mrs. Garrett: come on we better hurry up and finish getting ready (looks over and notices Jo not eating) Jo why aren’t you eating aren’t you hungy
Jo: my stomach is doing flip flops this morning
Blair: Jo I told you there’s nothing to worry about just take the seasick pills and you’ll be fine Ah theres nothing like being out in the middle of the ocean it’s so calm and peaceful (eats some cerel) well at least that’s what I’ve heard
Jo: (looks over at Blair with concern) What do you you mean that? Haven’t you ever been on a cruise before
Blair: No
Jo: (sounding really worried) you haven’t I don’t believe this. There is no way I’m going on that cruise now. What happened with how calm and peaceful the ocean is
Blair: Jo the ocean is calm and peaceful believe nothing is gonnea happen to us
Natalie: right it’s not like were boarding on the Titanic
Jo: (sounding worried) well what if she ship sinks how are we going to be prepared for that
Blair: Jo you’ve got to relax being we can even leave the dock we go through an emergency drill now would you get calm down and eat a little something
Jo: (takes a deep breath and beath and begins to eat)
Tootie: Blair if you’ve never been on a cruise before how do you know so much about them
Blair: I watch Love Boat
Everyone: (smiles and continues to eat there breakfast)
(she sceen slowly fades out and as it fades back in again you see a ship out in the middle of the ocean)
Jo: (standing near the edge, next to Blair, looking out upon the ocean) you know the seasick pill really did the trick I don’t feel sick at all
Blair: (does a half smile) I told you it would work isn’t the ocean wonderful
Jo: Yeah sure is I love feeling the movement of the ocean (she takes her hand and moves it in a bopping motion and beging swayng back and forth) just swaying back and forth back and forth do you think there’s anything more wonderful then feeling the movement of the ocean
Blair: (looks at Jo with a sick look on her face) Jo please don’t say anything about the movement of the ocean
Jo: Blair you don’t look so good do you feel alright?
Blair: (sounding really annoyed) I feel the way you look first thing in the morning excuse me (she quickly goes into a restroom)
Mrs. Garrett: (walks up towards Jo) Hi Jo did that seasick pill work
Jo: yeah it worked great but I think Blair maybe should of taken one too
Mrs. Garrett: Oh dear I hope she’s gonnea be alright
Jo: yeah she’s maid of honor for Jennifer’s wedding tomorrow
Blair: (comes out of the restroom and still has a sick look on her face)
Mrs. Garrett: (puts her arm around her for support) hi Blair how are you feeling
Blair: not too good Mrs. Garrett I’m going to go lie down for a while (she starts to walk down towards her room)
Jo: Oh Blair (pulls a box out of her pocket)
Blair: (turns around as Jo toss her the box) thanks (she leaves)
WALKING AROUND NEAR THE POOL ----------
Tootie: I’m glad were on this cruise it’s helping me keep my mind off of you know you
Natalie: yeah me too I don’t think I ever had such a restless night in my life
Tootie: (smiles at her) do you want to go look around at the shops
Natalie: yeah sure
Tootie: (they begin walking around and exploring the shops looking at a store sign) Were Under Control what a cool name for a store I’m going to go check it out (she goes inside the store and quickly exits) I don’t believe it
Natalie: I don’t believe it either you have never gone into a store and come out two seconds later
Tootie: James Robinson is in there
Natalie: (getting annoyed) Oh no not again Tootie either you stop talking about him or your going to be spending the rest of this vacation alone (she starts to walk inside the store)
Tootie: (follows her inside and talks in a whisper) Natalie I swear it’s him
Natalie: that’s what you said last time and that he turned out to be a she
Tootie: (notices that the man leaves the shop) well this time that he is a he and not a she and I’m telling you that was James Robinson (pauses for a moment) I know let’s follow him
Natalie: WHAT? OK now you’ve really gone over the deep end there is no way I’m gonnea follow this guy around
Tootie: Fine then I’ll just keep the 10 thousand dollars for myself (she starts to leave)
Natalie: (graps the back of Tootie’s shirt and she turns around) did you say 10 thousand dollars
Tootie: (smiles and shakes her head)
Natalie: (smiles and shakes her head too)
IN THE RAINBOW CAFÉ ----
Jo: (sitting at a table with Mrs. Garrett) so are you have a good time
Mrs Garrett: (smiling from ear to ear) I’m having a wonderful time but I’m a little worried about Blair
Jo: yeah me too I hope she’s gonnea be ok for the wedding tomorrow
Waiter: (comes by carrying a tray and puts down there food)
Mrs. Garrett: MMMM this smells wonderful
Waiter: is there anything else you needed
Jo: can I have another coke
Waiter: Sure I’ll be right back with that (he takes away her glass and leaves to go back into the kitchen)
Jo: (begins eating and she glance over her shoulder. She notices a man starring at Mrs. Garrett) Mrs. G that man over there is starring at you
Mrs. Garrett: (looks around) where
Jo: (moves her head in the direction of the man) over there
Mrs. Garrett: (turns her head towards the man, who is still smiling at her, and she smiles back at him)
Jo: (continues eating and notices that Mrs. Garrett isn’t eating) Mrs. G your food is getting cold (Mrs. Garrett just contines to smile at the man) Mrs. G (Jo begins waving her hand in front of her face)
Mrs. Garrett: Oh sorry Jo (she begins eating her food but every once in a while takes a glance over at the man) did )you say something
Jo: (looks at her and smiles) yeah how’s your food
Mrs. Garrett: (still looking over at the man and smiling while she’s eating) oh it’s very good very good indeed
Albert: (walks over towards there table carrying a glass of wine) a lovely glass of wine for a lovely women (he smiles as Mrs. Garrett takes the glass of wine)
Mrs. Garrett: Oh thank you (she turns towards Jo and her smile fades a little bit) Jo didn’t you say that you were gonnea go check on Blair
Jo: (puts down her fork after taking a bit of food) Please Mrs. G I’m trying to keep my lunch down
Mrs. Garret: Jo (moves her head towards Albert)
Jo: Oh right (stands up) I’m gonnea go check on Blair bye it was nice almost meeting you (she walks out of the resturant)
Albert: (holds his hand out to the empy chair) may I
Mrs. Garrett: Please sit
Albert: My name is Albert Harper (he extends his hand)
Mrs. Garrett: it’s nice to meet you I’m Edna Garrett (she extends her hand and they shakes hands) so what brings you on a cruise
Albert: (pauses for a moment almost like he’s thinking up an answer) Oh I just needed to get away. You know how it is working 12 hours a day coming home to an empty house
Mrs. Garrett: I can relate to the long work hours. But I’ve got my girls to come home to
Albert: Oh how many daughters do you have
Mrs. Garrett: (laughing a little bit) none I have two sons. My girls are 4 college students that live in the same house as me. We all own Over Our Heads in Peeksill NY
Albert: did you guys win an award for having the hippest store in Peekskill last month
Mrs. Garrett: yes we did let me tell you about it (she beings telling him the story and the sceen fades out)
WALKING DOWN PAST THE CABINS ON THE SHIP
Natalie: tootie I’m gonnea go get something to eat. We’ve been trying to track down this guy all afternoon
Tootie: yeah good idea besides I’m getting stumped we must of checked every inch of this ship and there’s no sign of him (tootie glances over to her side and spots “James Robinson”) Nat it’s him
Natalie: (glances over towards Tootie’s direction they both stand up and start walking down the hallway being careful to stay a safe distance away from “James Robinson”)
(at the end of the hallway. Tootie pretends to look for her key as “James Robinson” enters his cabin)
Natalie: Ok good we found out which cabin is his can we now go get something to eat
Tootie: (she walks up towards his cabin door) yeah but we need some hard evidence something to nail this guy
Natalie: (sounding like she’s kidding) well what are you gonnea do break into his cabin (she starts laughing a little bit and Tootie starts to smile) Tootie I know what the smile means and you can just forget it. (Natalie begins walking back down the hall again and Tootie follows her)
Tootie: come on Nat it’s perfect plan. We get into his cabin we swipe a piece of jewerly and the 10 thousand dollars is ours
Natalie: there’s one problem in your plan we don’t’ have a key for his room
Tootie: just leave it to me I’ll find a way in
RAINBOW Café……
Tootie: (enters the café with Natalie) Hey look there’s Mrs. Garrett let’s go over and sit with her
Natalie: (notices that Mrs. Garrett is talking to Albert) Ah Tootie I don’t think she wants to be brothered right now
Tootie; (looks over again) Oh I see what you mean (smiling at Natalie) looks like Mrs. Garrett is having a romantic aventure on the high seas
IN THE HALLWAY NEAR THE ROOM…..
JO: (is walking in one direction towards her cabin)
Mr. Warer: (is walking towards the cabin coming from the opposite direction with two other people they all practiacly run into each other) Oh Jo I’m sorry I didn’t see you there
Jo: (smiles and reaches out her arms for a hug) Mr. Warner it’s great to see you
Mr. Warner: Jo I like you to meet my brother Jason (Jason looks exactly like the man that Tootie and Natalie are trying to track down) and this is his daughter Jennifer
Jo: (they all shake hands) it’s so nice to meet you both Blair’s done nothing but talk about this wedding for weeks
Jennifer: and speaking of Blair I haven’t seen her since we boarded the cruise
Jo: (opens the door to her cabin) that’s where she is
(they all peek there heads in and see Blair asleep on her bed)
Jo: she got sick 10 minutes after the ship left the dock and she’s been asleep for hours
Mr. David Warner: Oh dear I hope she’s gonnea be alright for tomorrow
Jo: I’m sure she’ll be fine
Mrs. Warner: (comes down the hallway)
Mr. David Warner: (looks up and see’s her coming) maybe not here comes the dragon lazy (has a totally phoney smile and holds out his arms) Monica so nice to see you
Mrs. Warner: (hold out her hands and they do a half hug) David it’s nice to see you. Have you gained weight
Mr. David Warner: (laughs a little bit) Oh you still haven’t lost that sense of humor of yours
Jo: (smiles) well I no when to get lost, so I will see you all later. Mrs. Warner and Mr. Warner it was nice seeing you again. Jennifer and Mr. Warner it was nice meeting you (she leaves and starts walking down the hallway)
UP ON THE LIDO DECK
Jo: (walks on the deck carrying a walkman. She sits down on a lawn chair next to a young boy)
Henry: (just as jo gets settled in Henry starts up a conversation with her) Hi I’m Henry Mitchell what’s your name
Jo: (extends her hand) hi Henry I’m Jo it’s nice to meet you are you here with your family
Henry: yeah I’m here with my mom and my grandma what about you
Jo: I’m here with my friends. My best friends cousin is getting married tomorrow
Henry: (starts coughing and nearly chokes)
Jo: (lightly slaps him on the back) Henry are you alright (he continues to cough) Henry
Henry: (after a couple moments he calms down again and starts breathing a little heavy)
Jo: (stands up) I’ll go get you a soda
Henry: (still breathing a little heavy) no it’s ok I’ll be fine
Jo: (looks at him with concern) how often do you get those coughs
Henry: in the beginning I didn’t cough to much, but lately I’ve been coughing more and more
Jo: (pauses for a moment) so then that’s not a normal cough then is it?
Henry: (looks down to the ground then back up at Jo) No it’s not
Jo: (looks down towards the ground and doesn’t say a thing)
Henry (smiles a little bit) so why don’t you tell me more about this wedding
Jo: (looks up with a half smile) Ok well my friend Blair her cousin Jennifer is getting married tomorrow and they invited all of us along
Henry: How long have you and Blair been friends
Jo: Oh gosh we’ve been friends now for 7 years (laughs a little bit) of course when we first meant each other we couldn’t stand to be in the same room together (Henry laughs a little bit) Blair and I are total opposites.
Henry: it was really nice of them to invite all of you along
Jo: sure was were having a great time. What about you? Are you enjoying the vacation
Henry: yeah it’s great (looks down to the ground for a second and then back up) I just hope this isn’t my last vacation
Jo: (looks at him in shock)
Mrs. Mitchell: (approaches them) Hi sweetie here’s your medicine
Henry: (takes his medicine) thanks mom Oh this is Jo she’s here for a wedding
Jo: (extends her hand with a smile) Hi Mrs. Mitchell it’s nice to meet you
Mrs. Mitchell: (extends her hand with a smile) it’s nice to meet you to Jo and please call me Sonja (looks over at Henry) Henry we gotta go meet Grandma for dinner
Henry: (he gathers up his stuff) ok mom bye Jo it was really nice meeting you (starts to cough just a little bit)
Jo: bye Henry I hope you get better soon
Henry / Mrs. Mitchell: (start walking towards the stairs just as there going down them blair is coming up them)
Blair: (walks over to Jo) Here you are? I’ve been looking all over for you (she sits down in a lawn chair)
Jo: (looks over at her with a surprised look) Blair what are you doing here? I thought you were feeling well
Blair: well I’m still not 100% (smiles) but of course you can’t tell that by the way I look I just decied that a little fresh air would do me some good
Jo: (smiles at her) your proberly right (stands up) I was just about to go get a soda do you think you can handle anything
Blair: yeah can you see if they have any 7up or ginger ale
Jo: sure I’ll be right back (jo heads over towards the bar and comes back carrying two drink) here you go one ginger ale.
Blair: (takes a small sip) thanks so what have you been doing besides getting a sun tan
Jo: I meant this really neat kid named Henry and we were talking for a while
Blair: Jo is something the matter
Jo: it’s something that he said just before his mom came over he said he hopes that this isn’t his last vacation
Blair: What do you think he meant by that?
Jo: I don’t know but I got a real strange feeling about this

Mrs. Garrett: (shakes her head in anger) alright that’s enough you girls have become way to envolved in this case. I want you to go upstairs and go back to bed. Were leaving early in the morning for the cruise
Jo: (looks at the others) come on you guys Mrs. G is right besides James Robinson robs Jewerly stores so I doubt he’s ever gonnea try to rob us
Natalie: I guess your right (smiles a little bit)
Tootie: (smiles a little bit) yeah besides none of us have any jewels that are worth stealing
Blair: (looks down at her jewelry box and everyone looks over at Blair then at each other)
Natalie: looks like it’s gonnea be a long time
Mrs. Garrett: I’ll go and make some hot coco (she leaves the room)
Jo: Ok when mrs. G gets back we drink the coco we all head up to bed alright
Natalie: I’ll go get something to clean up this mess (referring to the spilled milk) (she leaves the room)
(The screen flips, Jo and Blair are asleep on opposites ends of the couch)
jo: (who is sleeping on the couch stretches. she looks at her watch and quickly gets up from the couch) hey Blair wake up
Blair: (sounding very tried and confused) Jo what do you want
Jo: (shaking her to get up) Blair get up the limo will be here in 45 minutes
Blair: Ok ok (sounding a little bit more awake) I’m getting up my neck is killing me
Jo: my back is killing me. It’s proberly from sleeping on the sofa last night
Mrs. Garrett: (comes in carrying a tray of food) good morning girls breakfast is served (she puts the tray down in the table) where are Natalie and Tootie (she puts the tray down on the table)
Natalie: (comes downstairs the same time as Tootie) morning everybody
(everyone walks over to the table. They all start eating breakfast but Jo)
Blair: Did you guys sleep upstairs last night
Tootie: (takes a sip of oj) yeah we went up around 12:30
Jo: well why didn’t you wake us so we could go upstairs too
Natalie: we were going to snoring was so loud (butters her toast)
Tootie: and we wanted to get a good nights rest
Blair: see I told you snore Jo (takes a bite of her bacon) I swear some nights your snoring is so loud I bet you can break the sound barrier
Natalie: Blair Jo wasn’t snorning last night you were
(everyone except Blair laughs)
Blair: (looking shocked) I don’t snore
Mrs. Garrett: Blair everybody snores
Blair: well not me I’ve never heard myself snore
Jo: how could you your asleep
Mrs. Garrett: come on we better hurry up and finish getting ready (looks over and notices Jo not eating) Jo why aren’t you eating aren’t you hungy
Jo: my stomach is doing flip flops this morning
Blair: Jo I told you there’s nothing to worry about just take the seasick pills and you’ll be fine Ah theres nothing like being out in the middle of the ocean it’s so calm and peaceful (eats some cerel) well at least that’s what I’ve heard
Jo: (looks over at Blair with concern) What do you you mean that? Haven’t you ever been on a cruise before
Blair: No
Jo: (sounding really worried) you haven’t I don’t believe this. There is no way I’m going on that cruise now. What happened with how calm and peaceful the ocean is
Blair: Jo the ocean is calm and peaceful believe nothing is gonnea happen to us
Natalie: right it’s not like were boarding on the Titanic
Jo: (sounding worried) well what if she ship sinks how are we going to be prepared for that
Blair: Jo you’ve got to relax being we can even leave the dock we go through an emergency drill now would you get calm down and eat a little something
Jo: (takes a deep breath and beath and begins to eat)
Tootie: Blair if you’ve never been on a cruise before how do you know so much about them
Blair: I watch Love Boat
Everyone: (smiles and continues to eat there breakfast)
(she sceen slowly fades out and as it fades back in again you see a ship out in the middle of the ocean)
Jo: (standing near the edge, next to Blair, looking out upon the ocean) you know the seasick pill really did the trick I don’t feel sick at all
Blair: (does a half smile) I told you it would work isn’t the ocean wonderful
Jo: Yeah sure is I love feeling the movement of the ocean (she takes her hand and moves it in a bopping motion and beging swayng back and forth) just swaying back and forth back and forth do you think there’s anything more wonderful then feeling the movement of the ocean
Blair: (looks at Jo with a sick look on her face) Jo please don’t say anything about the movement of the ocean
Jo: Blair you don’t look so good do you feel alright?
Blair: (sounding really annoyed) I feel the way you look first thing in the morning excuse me (she quickly goes into a restroom)
Mrs. Garrett: (walks up towards Jo) Hi Jo did that seasick pill work
Jo: yeah it worked great but I think Blair maybe should of taken one too
Mrs. Garrett: Oh dear I hope she’s gonnea be alright
Jo: yeah she’s maid of honor for Jennifer’s wedding tomorrow
Blair: (comes out of the restroom and still has a sick look on her face)
Mrs. Garrett: (puts her arm around her for support) hi Blair how are you feeling
Blair: not too good Mrs. Garrett I’m going to go lie down for a while (she starts to walk down towards her room)
Jo: Oh Blair (pulls a box out of her pocket)
Blair: (turns around as Jo toss her the box) thanks (she leaves)
WALKING AROUND NEAR THE POOL ----------
Tootie: I’m glad were on this cruise it’s helping me keep my mind off of you know you
Natalie: yeah me too I don’t think I ever had such a restless night in my life
Tootie: (smiles at her) do you want to go look around at the shops
Natalie: yeah sure
Tootie: (they begin walking around and exploring the shops looking at a store sign) Were Under Control what a cool name for a store I’m going to go check it out (she goes inside the store and quickly exits) I don’t believe it
Natalie: I don’t believe it either you have never gone into a store and come out two seconds later
Tootie: James Robinson is in there
Natalie: (getting annoyed) Oh no not again Tootie either you stop talking about him or your going to be spending the rest of this vacation alone (she starts to walk inside the store)
Tootie: (follows her inside and talks in a whisper) Natalie I swear it’s him
Natalie: that’s what you said last time and that he turned out to be a she
Tootie: (notices that the man leaves the shop) well this time that he is a he and not a she and I’m telling you that was James Robinson (pauses for a moment) I know let’s follow him
Natalie: WHAT? OK now you’ve really gone over the deep end there is no way I’m gonnea follow this guy around
Tootie: Fine then I’ll just keep the 10 thousand dollars for myself (she starts to leave)
Natalie: (graps the back of Tootie’s shirt and she turns around) did you say 10 thousand dollars
Tootie: (smiles and shakes her head)
Natalie: (smiles and shakes her head too)
IN THE RAINBOW CAFÉ ----
Jo: (sitting at a table with Mrs. Garrett) so are you have a good time
Mrs Garrett: (smiling from ear to ear) I’m having a wonderful time but I’m a little worried about Blair
Jo: yeah me too I hope she’s gonnea be ok for the wedding tomorrow
Waiter: (comes by carrying a tray and puts down there food)
Mrs. Garrett: MMMM this smells wonderful
Waiter: is there anything else you needed
Jo: can I have another coke
Waiter: Sure I’ll be right back with that (he takes away her glass and leaves to go back into the kitchen)
Jo: (begins eating and she glance over her shoulder. She notices a man starring at Mrs. Garrett) Mrs. G that man over there is starring at you
Mrs. Garrett: (looks around) where
Jo: (moves her head in the direction of the man) over there
Mrs. Garrett: (turns her head towards the man, who is still smiling at her, and she smiles back at him)
Jo: (continues eating and notices that Mrs. Garrett isn’t eating) Mrs. G your food is getting cold (Mrs. Garrett just contines to smile at the man) Mrs. G (Jo begins waving her hand in front of her face)
Mrs. Garrett: Oh sorry Jo (she begins eating her food but every once in a while takes a glance over at the man) did )you say something
Jo: (looks at her and smiles) yeah how’s your food
Mrs. Garrett: (still looking over at the man and smiling while she’s eating) oh it’s very good very good indeed
Albert: (walks over towards there table carrying a glass of wine) a lovely glass of wine for a lovely women (he smiles as Mrs. Garrett takes the glass of wine)
Mrs. Garrett: Oh thank you (she turns towards Jo and her smile fades a little bit) Jo didn’t you say that you were gonnea go check on Blair
Jo: (puts down her fork after taking a bit of food) Please Mrs. G I’m trying to keep my lunch down
Mrs. Garret: Jo (moves her head towards Albert)
Jo: Oh right (stands up) I’m gonnea go check on Blair bye it was nice almost meeting you (she walks out of the resturant)
Albert: (holds his hand out to the empy chair) may I
Mrs. Garrett: Please sit
Albert: My name is Albert Harper (he extends his hand)
Mrs. Garrett: it’s nice to meet you I’m Edna Garrett (she extends her hand and they shakes hands) so what brings you on a cruise
Albert: (pauses for a moment almost like he’s thinking up an answer) Oh I just needed to get away. You know how it is working 12 hours a day coming home to an empty house
Mrs. Garrett: I can relate to the long work hours. But I’ve got my girls to come home to
Albert: Oh how many daughters do you have
Mrs. Garrett: (laughing a little bit) none I have two sons. My girls are 4 college students that live in the same house as me. We all own Over Our Heads in Peeksill NY
Albert: did you guys win an award for having the hippest store in Peekskill last month
Mrs. Garrett: yes we did let me tell you about it (she beings telling him the story and the sceen fades out)
WALKING DOWN PAST THE CABINS ON THE SHIP
Natalie: tootie I’m gonnea go get something to eat. We’ve been trying to track down this guy all afternoon
Tootie: yeah good idea besides I’m getting stumped we must of checked every inch of this ship and there’s no sign of him (tootie glances over to her side and spots “James Robinson”) Nat it’s him
Natalie: (glances over towards Tootie’s direction they both stand up and start walking down the hallway being careful to stay a safe distance away from “James Robinson”)
(at the end of the hallway. Tootie pretends to look for her key as “James Robinson” enters his cabin)
Natalie: Ok good we found out which cabin is his can we now go get something to eat
Tootie: (she walks up towards his cabin door) yeah but we need some hard evidence something to nail this guy
Natalie: (sounding like she’s kidding) well what are you gonnea do break into his cabin (she starts laughing a little bit and Tootie starts to smile) Tootie I know what the smile means and you can just forget it. (Natalie begins walking back down the hall again and Tootie follows her)
Tootie: come on Nat it’s perfect plan. We get into his cabin we swipe a piece of jewerly and the 10 thousand dollars is ours
Natalie: there’s one problem in your plan we don’t’ have a key for his room
Tootie: just leave it to me I’ll find a way in
RAINBOW Café……
Tootie: (enters the café with Natalie) Hey look there’s Mrs. Garrett let’s go over and sit with her
Natalie: (notices that Mrs. Garrett is talking to Albert) Ah Tootie I don’t think she wants to be brothered right now
Tootie; (looks over again) Oh I see what you mean (smiling at Natalie) looks like Mrs. Garrett is having a romantic aventure on the high seas
IN THE HALLWAY NEAR THE ROOM…..
JO: (is walking in one direction towards her cabin)
Mr. Warer: (is walking towards the cabin coming from the opposite direction with two other people they all practiacly run into each other) Oh Jo I’m sorry I didn’t see you there
Jo: (smiles and reaches out her arms for a hug) Mr. Warner it’s great to see you
Mr. Warner: Jo I like you to meet my brother Jason (Jason looks exactly like the man that Tootie and Natalie are trying to track down) and this is his daughter Jennifer
Jo: (they all shake hands) it’s so nice to meet you both Blair’s done nothing but talk about this wedding for weeks
Jennifer: and speaking of Blair I haven’t seen her since we boarded the cruise
Jo: (opens the door to her cabin) that’s where she is
(they all peek there heads in and see Blair asleep on her bed)
Jo: she got sick 10 minutes after the ship left the dock and she’s been asleep for hours
Mr. David Warner: Oh dear I hope she’s gonnea be alright for tomorrow
Jo: I’m sure she’ll be fine
Mrs. Warner: (comes down the hallway)
Mr. David Warner: (looks up and see’s her coming) maybe not here comes the dragon lazy (has a totally phoney smile and holds out his arms) Monica so nice to see you
Mrs. Warner: (hold out her hands and they do a half hug) David it’s nice to see you. Have you gained weight
Mr. David Warner: (laughs a little bit) Oh you still haven’t lost that sense of humor of yours
Jo: (smiles) well I no when to get lost, so I will see you all later. Mrs. Warner and Mr. Warner it was nice seeing you again. Jennifer and Mr. Warner it was nice meeting you (she leaves and starts walking down the hallway)
UP ON THE LIDO DECK
Jo: (walks on the deck carrying a walkman. She sits down on a lawn chair next to a young boy)
Henry: (just as jo gets settled in Henry starts up a conversation with her) Hi I’m Henry Mitchell what’s your name
Jo: (extends her hand) hi Henry I’m Jo it’s nice to meet you are you here with your family
Henry: yeah I’m here with my mom and my grandma what about you
Jo: I’m here with my friends. My best friends cousin is getting married tomorrow
Henry: (starts coughing and nearly chokes)
Jo: (lightly slaps him on the back) Henry are you alright (he continues to cough) Henry
Henry: (after a couple moments he calms down again and starts breathing a little heavy)
Jo: (stands up) I’ll go get you a soda
Henry: (still breathing a little heavy) no it’s ok I’ll be fine
Jo: (looks at him with concern) how often do you get those coughs
Henry: in the beginning I didn’t cough to much, but lately I’ve been coughing more and more
Jo: (pauses for a moment) so then that’s not a normal cough then is it?
Henry: (looks down to the ground then back up at Jo) No it’s not
Jo: (looks down towards the ground and doesn’t say a thing)
Henry (smiles a little bit) so why don’t you tell me more about this wedding
Jo: (looks up with a half smile) Ok well my friend Blair her cousin Jennifer is getting married tomorrow and they invited all of us along
Henry: How long have you and Blair been friends
Jo: Oh gosh we’ve been friends now for 7 years (laughs a little bit) of course when we first meant each other we couldn’t stand to be in the same room together (Henry laughs a little bit) Blair and I are total opposites.
Henry: it was really nice of them to invite all of you along
Jo: sure was were having a great time. What about you? Are you enjoying the vacation
Henry: yeah it’s great (looks down to the ground for a second and then back up) I just hope this isn’t my last vacation
Jo: (looks at him in shock)
Mrs. Mitchell: (approaches them) Hi sweetie here’s your medicine
Henry: (takes his medicine) thanks mom Oh this is Jo she’s here for a wedding
Jo: (extends her hand with a smile) Hi Mrs. Mitchell it’s nice to meet you
Mrs. Mitchell: (extends her hand with a smile) it’s nice to meet you to Jo and please call me Sonja (looks over at Henry) Henry we gotta go meet Grandma for dinner
Henry: (he gathers up his stuff) ok mom bye Jo it was really nice meeting you (starts to cough just a little bit)
Jo: bye Henry I hope you get better soon
Henry / Mrs. Mitchell: (start walking towards the stairs just as there going down them blair is coming up them)
Blair: (walks over to Jo) Here you are? I’ve been looking all over for you (she sits down in a lawn chair)
Jo: (looks over at her with a surprised look) Blair what are you doing here? I thought you were feeling well
Blair: well I’m still not 100% (smiles) but of course you can’t tell that by the way I look I just decied that a little fresh air would do me some good
Jo: (smiles at her) your proberly right (stands up) I was just about to go get a soda do you think you can handle anything
Blair: yeah can you see if they have any 7up or ginger ale
Jo: sure I’ll be right back (jo heads over towards the bar and comes back carrying two drink) here you go one ginger ale.
Blair: (takes a small sip) thanks so what have you been doing besides getting a sun tan
Jo: I meant this really neat kid named Henry and we were talking for a while
Blair: Jo is something the matter
Jo: it’s something that he said just before his mom came over he said he hopes that this isn’t his last vacation
Blair: What do you think he meant by that?
Jo: I don’t know but I got a real strange feeling about this
