It's a parody like the Rerun show of the Facts of Life.

The Rerun Show was from 2002 so Charlotte probably had plenty of time to see it, especially with the real Gary Coleman in it. I am sure the others saw it and laughed at it too.

Yes that's right: GARY COLEMAN was in there too, and very alive back then...

I just saw this parody after spending $10 to see it and I have mixed reviews of it.

It definitely does not approach the quality and comedy of the Rerun show version of the Facts of Life. Then again , I've not seen a single parody come close to that one. The representation of Mrs. Garrett is pretty close to the Rerun Show. The actresses for Natalie and Tootie were the best representation of the original. But the actor playing Jo was horrible and didn't even try to look anything like a woman. The actor playing Blair was Meh, Blair was pretty much Nancyed Oed in this parody.

Quite a few first season references in this. There was mentions of Tootie's roller skates and Molly (as well as George Clooney) and Tootie did a "I think there is going to be trouble" The show got really political in the second half. Molly Ringwald and Molly Parker would be proud, but it's not for every one. The format was in a Zoom meeting.

Oh, it's a Zoom? So there's no set? It's a table read? I saw The Golden Girls one on Tuesday and it was awful. If it's similar to that, I don't even want to watch.

This parody looks awfully tacky. I know it's supposed to be drag queens (and nothing against them!) and be over-the-top, but they could at least try a little harder to look like the actresses if it's $10. At least give us a preview or trailer before we spend the $10.

I have to admit that although i found it funny, the only actors close to the originals were TOOTIE and NATALIE!
The impersonation of MRS G was a mockery, and that fat lady looked nothing like our 'feisty red haired'! (she also lacked her warmth).
The same goes for BLAIR: her impersonation was horrible, and nothing like our 'girl with the golden heart'!
JO was ridiculous too: they made her look aggressive and violent (she never punched NATALIE before)!
Like i said: only TOOTIE and NAT's impersonation matched!
