Another easy one missed:

Frasier & Lilith

Although Lilith guest starred so many times on Frasier, where I always enjoyed watching her guest star there. About the only time I'd watch Frasier.

1. Sam and Diane on Cheers. They were on again off again, but finally ended it for good.
2. Jerry and Elaine were already broke up when Seinfeld started.
3. Niles and the unseen Maris on Frasier.

In the original (Roseanne) they broke up when Dan had an affair in California with his moms nurse.

That doesn't count though since it was in Roseanne's book. She just imagined Dan cheated on her. They never broke up in the show. They were still together until they killed her off in The Conners.

I'm not even sure Fred and Jackie counts since Fred may have never existed either. In season 10 of Roseanne it was established that Jackie wasn't a mother. I haven't seen The Conners to know if they rewrote that.
