I see some people say that she is a brunette and not a natural redhead.

However, she does have red hair in some of her early childhood photos and her kids are red heads. It's not uncommon for some red heads to have their hair darken to be more auburn or brown.

Molly's natural hair color is either a brown or a brownish auburn.

I know, and that's why i have always preferred BLAIR in season 1, when she still had her lighter brown/golden hair (unlike in the later seasons where it looks too yellowish and very fake!)
