In the episode Out of the Darkness when the little kid climbs out of his bedroom window and just stares at his parents, before falling off an being saved by Monica.
In the episode What Are Friends For? when Carrie's (main character) lawyer friend is randomly killed off at the end (there is a scene where he makes a comment about chemotherapy, then at the end he is shown walking off into the distance with Andrew by his side). It was random as it was not part of the main story. Also cruel for Carrie, as her other best friend had just got sent to jail for sexual misconduct. It seemed unnecessary to add it to the episode. It was bad writing IMO.
Any other moments you thought were weird ?
