When Movieline magazine rebranded as Hollywood Life, the rules changed. Previously, the publication might cover a TV star from time to time. They really seemed to love X-Files stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson for example. But Duchovny and Anderson were at least attempting to transition to the big screen. It would have been almost unthinkable for an actress like Drea de Matteo to score a cover story in the old Movieline magazine. But here she was on the Style September 2004 Style issue of Hollywood Life.
