When will Me tv Schedule come out?

Anyone know if Me Tv will get rid of shows on week days from 9 30 pm till 11 pm already

Crummy and stale as always. Nothing’s changed at all except Gilligan’s Island replacing the Beverly Hillbillies on weekday mornings. And of course they keep that stupid Hogan’s Heroes there that just won’t leave. This channel has gone to the dogs.

Well, can't say I'm surprised.

There are three hours of total dud Westerns (Bat Masterson Trackdown and Have Dung Will Travel) that air on Sat mornings from 7:00~10am that could be pulled/replaced with any type of sitcom/show and still pull a similar number or better ratings wise. 11 program hrs dedicated to great gramps on Saturday morning is overkill!

Maybe Granny and the grandkids might like to have something to watch on Saturday mornings? Again, they could cut out 3hrs and still be left with 8hrs of solid Western programs.

Not a stereotype! When I was growing up, my grandpa was really into tv westerns. My grandmother, dad and his sister's hated the boring shows. I even tried watching them to judge for myself. 11hrs is overkill and it wouldn't hurt them to try other classic shows in that slot.

And nothing else is changing.

I 'm not attacking the afternoon Westerns that has a dedicated fanbase, or even Maverick that mixes it up and spoofs other popular tv westerns, but the first 3hrs of their Saturday block is cheap filler material.

I would really just like to see family friendly shows on Saturday morning. Their sister channel H&I airs a few of the old superhero shows on Saturday morning, so those shows are off the table. I know Warner Bros and Classic Media are very stingy with their animated properties, but animated shows like UA's Pink Panther Show is probably up for grabs.
Why not a Saturday morning programming block of:
7:00-8:00 Leave It To Beaver or Lost In Space
8:00-The Pink Panther Show
8:30 The Flintstones
9:00-10:00 Lassie
Saturday Westerns
10:00-11:00 Maverick
11:00~12:30 Wagon Train 90min color episodes
12:30 Wanted Dead or Alive
1:00 Gunsmoke
2:00 Bonanza
3:00 Rawhide or Big Valley
4:00 Rifleman
5:00-7:00 The Three Stooges
7:00-8:00 Wonder Woman

This schedule would help trim out a lot of unnecessary rope opera fat.

Perhaps it’s just these small changes for now. Perhaps mid-late September maybe more changes will come. Time will tell.

Those are the changes, that's it.

MeTV is the most successful retro diginet currently, so they don’t seem to have much incentive to invest in new acquisitions. They’re being short sighted, though, because once viewers break the habit due to stale programming, it’s hard to get them back. Even the Summer of Me campaign no longer is accompanied by any real schedule changes.

I will give them a lot of credit for doing things like acquiring long unseen-episodes of “My Three Sons” and “Petticoat Junction”, and for showing the entire runs of shows like “Bonanza” and “Gunsmoke” (which traditionally have had split syndication packages). But that’s not enough.

I find myself watching Antenna TV far more than MeTV these days.

I watch Antenna now more as well.

The thing about MeTV's westerns Bonanza and Gunsmoke is that if you are interested in certain seasons, the series both ran so long it takes forever to get to your interest.

Since I have GRIT, occasionally I'll watch a western on there instead. They have some decent ones.

I think Wild Kingdom would be a good add, and SBTB is a real stretch as E/I.

Although I liked Room 222 back in the day, it did fit well in its time but is very dated now.

All past tv shows are dated in some form or fashion. Room 222 is still a very good show to watch to see how things used to be and how they are still the same in some manner too. MeTV means- memorable tv. ;)

This is great news!

The classic cartoons is a good addition to their line up. It balances their schedule in a better way and adds more variety. I think now MeTV will be one of the only TV channels or maybe the only one that shows real, or in other words classic cartoons. It would also be nice if they picked up the original Jetsons to compliment their showing The Flintstones.

I agree that the classic cartoons are a good addition, they should have done this a long time I miss the Tooned in cartoon that Antenna TV had so long ago now. I also agree and shocked they haven't gotten The Jetsons, would be nice to see The Flintstones and The Jetsons movie I never seen. I also would like to see my favorite cartoon ever on Saturday Mornings again Scooby Doo the original. Would be the best Halloween marathon ever I would think.
