20th Century Fox Television and Fox 21 TV Studios will become 20th Television and Touchstone Television, respectively, as part of the change. The move comes nearly a year and a half after Disney acquired both studios. Disney is also folding ABC Studios and its subsidiary ABC Signature Studios into one unit that will now be called ABC Signature.

When Disney announced the debut of Touchstone Pictures as a movie studio in 1984 Disney knew that having a movie studio would help increase their success and go beyond creating kids movies and debuting a studio that was made for movies that Mom and Dad could watch while the kids went to bed. And so starting with the movie Splash in 1984 Touchstone Pictures became a household name and based on that Disney decided to create a TV show division of Touchstone and it has proven to be successful. With Walt Disney Television also known as Buena Vista Television now known as Disney Domestic Television Disney knows what works for them in TV. With the rebranding of ABC Studios to become ABC Signature I think Disney is planning to team up with FOX and create a second channel and if Disney and FOX were to name the new channel I bet it would most likely be named FOX Enjoy and I can bet if FOX Enjoy were to exist I think a lot of people would watch it. But when you look at the general picture Disney's TV studios are hugely successful and when Disney bought FOX it was a marriage made in heaven and by judging how successful the rebranding of ABC Signature is I think this is the start of the basis for a new channel also of the same name. But thanks to the new CEO of Disney this could be the beginning of a new miracle year for Disney TV and FOX
