The airport scene is usually cut out in syndication but Decades aired it yesterday with the scene intact. I'm not sure if the episode is uncut or just edited in different places that the other syndicated versions of this episode but that was great to see.

The episode seems unedited as it clocks in at 23:00. The episode may be slightly edited or even time compressed but it's definitely longer than what usually airs in syndication.

Just compared this episode with the DVD version and I'm seeing this episode is not completely unedited. It is missing the elevator scene between Joe and Rhoda after their date. Considering that this episode runs longer on Decades than it does on the DVD, I'm unsure why the couldn't have kept that scene in. It was roughly a minute or so of dialogue. It's sort of a bummer because the episode was so close to being completely uncut.
Without the opening sequence, the rest of the episode is intact on the DVD.

It feels like their episodes are uncut when I watch MTM on decades but not completely sure. I know the show comes on right after the opening credits

Well you know the season 1 DVD is edited right?

Yes, if the DVD had included the airport scene then it would have been unedited because everything else is included. There were no additional edits besides that opening sequence.

Sorry about that. To clarify there were no additional edits in that particular episode besides the airport scene. It's a true shame they had so many edited episodes in that release.
