Does anyone else get cracked up when Aunt Ephie (sp?) stabs Iola in the leg w/ those knitting needles? I think it's sooo funny when Ephie's sitting there stabbing her & Iola's trying to get her off of her & throwing her around! Vint & the rest of them don't even notice! :lol: Who else likes Aunt Effie?

Yeah, I get a kick out of Aunt Effie too (it's actually "Effie"), and I have a friend who really loves her!

Yeah, I like Aunt Effie too. The actress who played her, Dorothy Van, wrote several (very funny) episodes as well. She also worked on Silver Spoons as a writer...

To bad Dothy Van died, he was funny and a good writer. I like the epsiode where she would not talk to the longest time, and she found the last peice of vints puzzle Merry Mack, so goes to put it in and they all scream no Aunt Effie, she put the last peice in and says all done bozo.
