In the episode "Barney mends a Broken Heart" , Andy gets a black eye from Daphne's tough guy boyfriend "Al"

Whenever I see that, with "Al's" entry, I am always reminded of Rodney Dangerfield, from his early "stand-up" days.
Same collar, same type ill fitting jacket, same posture...even the same demeanor, to an extent.

Of course Dangerfield always breaks the tension with a smile, something that Al never does.
