In 1985 a family group from the South Pacific named The Jets made their debut with their self-titled debut album and had a hit with the ballad You Got It All which was written by the same songwriter who wrote Escape for Rupert Holmes. After the singles Crush On You and a remake of the song La La Means I Love You The Jets went on to release a Christmas album before returning with the album Magic which had the singles Make It Real Rocket To You and The Same Love which was also covered by Expose in 1992. The Jets split up due to one of the members suffering health problems but their music is fun to listen to if you like cool bubblegum pop of the 80's

My favorite song from The Jets is "You Got It All"
You've got it all over him
You got me over him
Honey it's true
There's just you
You must have been heaven-sent...

I actually discovered The Jets by accident when I bought their debut album from Goodwill and I didn't know who they were and so Mom and I were cleaning my room when I had The Jets album playing on my stereo and my mom started dancing and singing and she thought their music was neat. Mom especially liked the album cover because she liked the clothes they wore

That's a neat story. There are good finds to be made in those stores. I picked up 2 Barry Manilow cd's, Sings the '50s and Sings the '60s and play them in my car all the time.
