I haven't seen this since it originally aired, and in my neck of the woods it was only on for about a month. I seem to vaguely recall some inconsistencies and changes that you all may be able to help clear up.
It looks like the web versions have a stylized intro (In The Heart of the City) with animation and graphics on all episodes, but I recall something different for the first few--
Didn't this show originally have a more generic opening all on video with no effects, featuring little zoom-ins and pauses on the actors with their names plastered on screen?
I also seem to recall something about Nathaniel Taylor having the Jim-Jam role in at least one episode, only to be replaced with Theodore Wilson, and his introduction was also featured in the generic open.
Also, wasn't there a re-tooling of this show? Like, where it went away for a few weeks and came back with a somewhat different tone and set change before it ended?
Curious, I am. If anyone has a link to the original opening, some more information/insight, or can, maybe, post some clips that show I haven't lost me mind completely, I'd be rather grateful!
