In The Episode "The Poor and Unknown", Carl Steven plays Curt, an orphan with no family and picks on Sam because Sam brags about all the things he does with Maggie and Mr. D. Carl Steven really played the rebel rude child turn nice kid afterall character real well and had a similar role on Webster when he was bullying Webster until at the end they became friends. He, in my opinion, was one of the better child actors of the mid and late 1980's. Too bad he didn't get too many roles other than spots on Webster And Diff'rent Strokes. I think he could had been a break out star on any show he acted.

I never heard of Carl Steven till that episode aired. I think he did very well in that episode. Who knows, if Diff'rent Strokes went on, maybe he would had becime a regular.
