I remember a Good Times Fan saying something like,"I am glad in current times that Child Abuse is taken a LOT more serious than in 1976/1976. If Penny went to the ER with a possible broken arm, there would have been an investigation(Doctors wouldn't so easily believe the "I fell off my skateboard," lie and Miss Gordon would have been the very FIRST Suspect. Miss Gordon's "I'm so sweet and wouldn't hurt my Child," Ruse Act wouldn't have worked so well nowadays. I am so glad that we live nowadays and not in 1976 where Doctors easily fell for a child's lie

Totally agree! ;)We talk about the good old days , but some things weren't so good back than and are better now, like taking a child's injuries more seriously that it is indeed child abuse and not just an "accident " and "the child is clumsy " !!
