I was listening to my oldies cd and came across The Grass Roots and I wondered what became of them? They were known for the hits Let's Live For Today Sooner Or Later Midnight Confession and Temptation Eyes. Did The Grass Roots split or did they make a comeback in the 70's?

Creed Bratton of The Grass Roots Band was a regular character on TV show "The Office." My favorite song from them is "Spinnin' & Reelin'." Creed Bratton is a pretty good singer/musician.

So many of the late 60's & early 70's bands called it quits as their music became less popular. Some went on to join other bands. I always liked The Grass Roots, The Guess Who, America, and Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds. I still listen to them on my CD's and YouTube.

Yes !!! :);) I often play my CD's from that time period ! I have The Guess who and America ( that you mentioned ), Three Dog night , Canned Heat, The Band , The Doors, Bob Dylan , Crosby ,Stills ,Nash and Young , Simon & Garfunkel and many others !;) Or I put the music cable stations on TV to 60's and 70's music ! They have lots of great old bands and songs ( that's where I have heard the Grass roots recently) ! :):wave:
