She was horrible to Fiesty Red-haired on Gamma Gamma (on Antenna TV today). Mrs. G and the other girls shouldn't have to put up with her drama and rude attitude. I don't care about the reasoning.

View Full Version : Sorry, I can't get behind Blair WriterChick78 07-24-2020, 03:19 PM She was horrible to Fiesty Red-haired on Gamma Gamma (on Antenna TV today). WriterChick78 07-24-2020, 03:39 PM And, when she decided she wanted nothing to do with the sorority, it was because they jerked HER around for weeks, not because her worrying about their acceptance of her caused a rift between her and Mrs. G, as well as a rift between her and the other girls. If I were them, I wouldn't talk to her, let alone let her live with them, unless she apologized to all of them. Lorimar Television 07-24-2020, 08:34 PM Get behind the better blond Sue Ann ;) Wawwie 07-24-2020, 09:21 PM Mrs. G. should have discussed the menu with Blair before deciding on her own to make Mexican food. So Mrs. G. was wrong for that, but Blair's reaction to it was totally outrageous and uncalled for. I don't care about the reasoning. Blair was definitely out of line in that episode. Mrs. G should have consulted with Blair, but Blair's reaction was so over the top. I know Blair wanted to fit in with her new college chums, but she was horrible to Mrs. G. :( It reminds me of how she treated her in "The Girls' School", before she even knew her. I blame Boots for putting so much pressure on Blair. That episode, "Gamma Gamma", makes me laugh like few others do. The scene where they decide to put the most questionable "Chinese food" at the back of the table... and then they move everything to the back of the table... is such a magnificent sight gag! FOL-FAN-ITA 07-25-2020, 08:35 AM That was a bad episode. I know Mrs. Garrett should have talked with Blair, but, as Retro said, her reaction was so over the top. By the way, I really appreciate Jo in that episode valentina warner 07-25-2020, 12:41 PM I'm afraid i'm gonna have to disagree with everyone in here: BLAIR was definitely rude and horrible at the beginning when she has that fight with MRS G: but the way they made up in the end was very sweet!!!!! I also love the scene where TOOTIE finds a very angry and upset MRS G in the living room tearing up a newspaper: when she tries to reason with her, it's so sweet when our 'feisty red haired' says that she helped raise BLAIR, and you can clearly see that she's hurt.... 'Gamma Gamma' is actually one of my favourite episodes from season 5: through that fight, we get BLAIR to actually move in with her 'Peekskill family' (MRS G & the 3 girls) when she realizes how ridiculous and childish she'd overreacted at the beginning. This episode is actually a message all of you have failed to notice: BLAIR finally realizes that BOOTSIE and her plastic/shallow friends are no worth to hang out with, and that MRS G, JO, NAT and TOOTIE are the ones that really matter!!!! I just love the ending when MRS G goes to find BLAIR in the living room, (clearly wanting to make up)they have that 'heart to heart' talk, and BLAIR apologizes: she said that she is sorry she behaved like a 3 year old, and when TOOTIE says, "There is peace in the valley!" is such a warmhearted moment!!!! So you see: BLAIR did apologize to MRS G in the end lol! Our 'feisty red haired' is the best though: she takes the blame for BLAIR, when she tells BOOTSIE that she used the same doomed recipe for Jacky Kennedy (isn't she just adorable????) WriterChick78 07-25-2020, 01:33 PM Valentina, I may have missed a lot of that ending, sorry. Darn Antenna TV cuts so much out and you can SEE the cuts now - like they don't even care to make it look neat and clean. They need the extra time for more lawyer commercials and ads featuring Magnum PI praising the virtues of reverse mortgages, lol. I'll see if I can find the uncut version on Daily Motion. valentina warner 07-25-2020, 01:49 PM Valentina, I may have missed a lot of that ending, sorry. I have it on DVD, and this is really a BLAIR and MRS G episode: it's so bittersweet and heartwarming at the same time! (You can see how happy our 'feisty red haired' is to finally have all her girls together):grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: |
