I am trying to locate a segment in which a middle aged man riding a motorcycle was struck by a Semi I believe--kind of side swiped but him and his bike were drug a distance. I forgot what caused him to hide from the driver once he stopped but he feared for his life and lay low in a ditch. Driver and someone else are looking for him but they give up. This poor guy ends up losing his leg behind the whole ordeal.
Is this included in the Filmrise episodes? If so I don't know how I missed it. I remember watching the segment on Lifetime about 20 years ago.

I remember that one as well...he was stuck on the grill of the truck for a bit and that must have been horrifying.

Due to his death in 2014 and the statute of limitations expiring, they kept this case off of the FilmRise reboot.

1990 UM Fan, who is that in your avatar? Is she from UM? She looks vaguely familiar.

Yep...there we go.
I'm so used to seeing photos of her with her hair down like:

That explains it.

That was only part of it. Once the trucker noticed he was between the grill and his motorcycle hanging on for life, the trucker sped up in order to impale Jay against another trucker who was in front of him.
I have always struggled with this segment. What was the end game for the trucker other than the satisfaction over his two attempts to kill this motorcyclist?

I think it is BS that they omitted certain cases based on statutes of limitations lets be fair 2/3 of the series cases are now past this statute. True UM fans want to see the segments. There are some segments where everyone interviewed is dead and they still get aired.
I knew there was no way I missed this segment because I have watched the Filmrise episodes about 6 times each all the way through.
Oh well maybe I will dig out my Crystaldawn collection and enjoy UM the way it should be.
